Laboratory Gas-Phase Astrochemistry

In our lab, we investigate the spectroscopy and chemistry of ions, with a particular focus on isomeric effects. Using advanced techniques—including ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, cryogenic ion trapping, and laser spectroscopy—we study ion–molecule reactions and characterize molecular species relevant to astrochemistry. Our work provides key spectroscopic and kinetic data to support astronomical observations and astrochemical models of interstellar clouds.
